Day of Caring 2 Logo
Children First/CIS was one of many non-profit organizations in Buncombe County that received volunteer assistance from the Day of Caring event.  Volunteers helped paint the Project MARCH Learning Center Woodridge Site and worked in the community garden at our Family Resource Center at Emma.  "Volunteers are an important part of our organization in many areas such as helping students with homework, preparing food boxes, organizing the clothing closet and maintaining the community garden," said Allison Jordan, executive director.   For more information about volunteering with Children First/CIS contact Patricia Harrison at 828-259-9717 or patriciah@childrenfirstbc.org
