April 22 - National AmeriCorps Week Celebration, Project POWER members will volunteer with MANNA FoodBank, 6-8 pm.

April 23 - National AmeriCorps Week Celebration, Project POWER members will volunteer in the Emma Community Garden, 1-4:30 pm.

April 23 - Emma Community Garden Celebration, 3-5 pm.  Join us as we celebrate the opening of our community garden.  Entertainment will include a skit from the Project MARCH Woodridge site students.

April 24 - National AmeriCorps Week Celebration, Project POWER members will volunteer at the Vance 5K Rocket Run and International Children's Festival, 8:30 am - 3 pm.

May 7 - Elementality Shopping Night, Asheville Mall, 5-8 pm 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Children First/CIS.

May 8 - Project MARCH Learning Center Students perform at the Lake Eden Arts Festival.

May 14 - Annual Child Watch Tour - The 2010 Child Watch Tour will be held on Friday, May 14, time TBA.  The tour will focus on our state's historic budget shortfall and what it means for programs and services that children and youth access in Buncombe County.

May 31 - Children First/CIS closed for Memorial Day.

June 4 - Elementality Shipping Night, Asheville Mall, 5-8 pm, 10% of proceeds will be donated to Children First/CIS.

July 29 - Project POWER Team 12 Graduation, 6:30 pm, Governor's Residence.
